Meet Our Founder
Rahul Malewar
Young Guns was founded by Rahul Malewar, a certified Mountaineer with a unique blend of technical expertise and heartfelt passion for the mountains. Professionally, Rahul comes from an IT background, but his heart has always lived in the mountains. He has completed his Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) from Dirang, building a strong foundation in mountaineering safety and outdoor leadership.
Rahul has successfully completed iconic treks such as Everest Base Camp (EBC), Pangarchulla, Brahmatal, along with numerous expeditions across the Sahyadri mountain ranges. These experiences shaped his belief that travel—whether adventurous, relaxing or spiritual—has the power to transform lives when guided responsibly.

Caring for the Mountains That Care for Us
At Young Guns, our journeys don't end at reaching the summit—they continue in how we give back to nature. Along with trekking and travel experiences, we actively encourage hill and trail cleanliness initiatives during our journeys.
On many of our treks, our team and interested participants take part in cleaning trails while descending, collecting waste left behind and ensuring the mountains remain pristine for future generations. This activity is completely voluntary and driven by personal interest, not obligation.
We believe responsible travel begins with awareness. By leading through action, we inspire trekkers—especially children and youth—to develop respect for nature and understand their role in protecting it.
