Welcome to Young Guns Trekkers. By accessing our website, booking our services or participating in any trek or activity, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or booking any activity, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Safety Guidelines.
2. Eligibility
- Participants must meet the age and fitness requirements specified for each activity.
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- We reserve the right to refuse participation if a participant is deemed unfit for safety reasons.
3. Booking & Payment
- Bookings are confirmed only after full or partial payment is received.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice until booking confirmation.
- Payment must be made through approved payment methods listed on our website.
- Any additional costs during the trip must be borne by the participant unless stated otherwise.
4. Medical Disclosure & Fitness
- Participants must provide accurate medical information before joining any activity.
- Any pre-existing medical condition must be disclosed in advance.
- Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in denial of participation without refund.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the chosen activity.
5. Assumption of Risk
Trekking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks including, but not limited to:
- Slips, falls and injuries
- Weather-related hazards
- Wildlife encounters
- Altitude-related issues
By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks voluntarily.
6. Safety Compliance
- Participants must follow all instructions given by trek leaders and staff.
- Use of safety gear provided is mandatory.
- Any unsafe behavior may result in removal from the activity without refund.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellation policies vary by activity and will be specified at the time of booking.
- Refund eligibility depends on cancellation timing and applicable charges.
- No refunds will be provided for no-shows or last-minute cancellations unless specified.
- In case of cancellation by Young Guns Trekkers (due to weather, safety concerns or low participation), alternative dates or partial/full refunds may be offered.
8. Changes to Itinerary
We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be made in the best interest of participant safety and experience.
9. Liability Limitation
- Young Guns Trekkers shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage or delay caused by factors beyond our control.
- We are not responsible for loss of personal belongings during the trip.
- Participants are advised to carry necessary insurance where applicable.
10. Emergency Situations
In case of medical emergencies, we will provide basic assistance and coordinate with nearby medical facilities. Any medical or evacuation costs incurred will be the responsibility of the participant.
11. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to:
- Respect fellow participants, staff and local communities
- Avoid alcohol, drugs or any harmful substances during activities
- Follow environmental guidelines and avoid littering
- Maintain discipline and cooperate with the team
- Violation may result in removal without refund.
12. Insurance
Travel and medical insurance are recommended but may not be included unless explicitly mentioned. Participants are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage if required.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the website, including text, images, logos and design, is the property of Young Guns Trekkers and may not be used without permission.
14. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to data collection and usage as described.
15. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party vendors (transport, accommodation, etc.). We are not responsible for their independent actions, though we strive to partner with reliable providers.
