India Himachal Pradesh Difficult Summer 1 Week Trekking High Altitude Forest Trail Valley Peaks View Himalayan

Beyond Adventure

  •  Bara Bhangal Trek is one of the most challenging and remote trekking adventures available in the Indian Himalaya, leading intrepid adventurers into the isolated high valley of Bara Bhangal in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh through a combination of high mountain passes and wild, unspoiled terrain that sees very few visitors each year. The village of Bara Bhangal itself, situated at approximately 2,200 meters in a remote valley accessible only by crossing high mountain passes, is home to a small community of Gaddi shepherds and farmers whose lifestyle has remained largely unchanged for centuries, providing a remarkable window into the traditional culture of the Himalayan foothills.
