  •  Kuari Pass Trek, also known as the Curzon Trail after Lord Curzon who is said to have trekked this route during his viceroyalty of India, is one of the great classic Himalayan treks of the Garhwal region, offering a sustained and magnificent engagement with some of the finest mountain scenery in the entire western Himalayan chain. The pass itself, situated at an elevation of approximately 3,640 meters, provides a panoramic viewpoint of legendary quality, with the peaks of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Dronagiri, Hathi Ghoda, and the Kedarnath range all visible in a single sweeping panorama that is arguably the finest mountain view accessible to non-mountaineers in the entire Indian Himalayan region.

Age Requirement :
  • Minimum Age: 16 years and above
  • Experience: Recommended for those with prior trekking experience but not necessary.
  • Fitness: Good physical fitness, as the trek can be challenging due to uneven terrain and high altitude. Heart problems or breathing difficulties may be a challenge on this trek.
Fitness Criteria
  • The trekker should have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance in 35 minutes without stress.
  • Trekkers should be able to carry an 8-10 kg backpack; if opting for off-loading, a 3 kg daypack is sufficient.
  • If a trekker's BMI is outside the normal range (18-29), please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking.
