- Teen Dham Yatra is a spiritually uplifting 10-day pilgrimage journey covering some of the most sacred destinations in Uttarakhand. This yatra includes Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath — three highly revered shrines that attract thousands of devotees every year. Beginning from Delhi and passing through Haridwar, Uttarkashi, Guptkashi, Rudraprayag, Joshimath, and Rishikesh, the journey offers a divine blend of devotion, natural beauty, and Himalayan serenity.
- Gangotri, the origin of the holy River Ganga, is deeply significant in Hindu mythology. Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, stands majestically amidst snow-capped peaks and offers a powerful spiritual atmosphere. Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is one of the most important Char Dham shrines in India. Along the way, pilgrims also witness the sacred Ganga Aarti in Haridwar and can experience the divine Abhishekam ceremony at Kedarnath, both of which leave devotees mesmerized.

How to Reach

The nearest railway stations are Haridwar and Rishikesh. From there, you can continue the journey or taxi to reach the respective destinations.
Travel Chapters
Journey Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Delhi and drive to Haridwar. In the evening, attend the sacred Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Visit the Vishwanath Temple in the evening. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 3
Drive to Gangotri, one of the Char Dham shrines, and visit the Gangotri Temple. Take a holy dip in the river and perform पूजा before returning to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Day 4
Drive to Guptkashi, located along the Mandakini River. Check in and relax amidst the scenic Himalayan surroundings. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 5
Proceed to Sonprayag and begin the 20 km trek to Kedarnath. Upon arrival, check into camps or lodges near the temple. Overnight stay near Kedarnath
Day 6
Attend the early morning Abhishekam ceremony at Kedarnath Temple. After darshan, trek back to Sonprayag and drive to Guptkashi or Rudraprayag for overnight stay.
Day 7
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. In the evening, visit Tapt Kund and seek blessings at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 8
Visit Badrinath Temple in the morning followed by sightseeing at Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple. Later drive towards Rudraprayag or nearby town for overnight stay.
Day 9
Drive to Rishikesh and visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Continue to Haridwar and check in for overnight stay.
Day 10
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi for your onward journey.
