Journey Itinerary
Day 1
Upon arrival in Lucknow, you will be received by a representative and driven to Shravasti, a journey of approximately three hours. After reaching, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.
Day 2
After breakfast, check out and drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The sacred site was rediscovered in 1890 after being lost for centuries. Complete immigration formalities if required and proceed to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 3
Begin the day with breakfast and explore the sacred attractions of Lumbini, including Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Garden, Bodhi Tree, Maya Devi Pond, Ashoka Pillar, World Peace Pagoda, and various international monasteries. Overnight stay in Lumbini.
Day 4
fter breakfast, drive to Kushinagar, where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. Visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple and Rambhar Stupa, the cremation site of Buddha. Check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5
Post breakfast, check out and proceed to Patna. En route, stop at Vaishali, an important Buddhist site. Upon arrival in Patna, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.
Day 6
Early morning check-out and drive towards Bodhgaya. On the way, visit the ancient Nalanda University ruins and the Shanti Stupa in Rajgir. Continue to Bodhgaya, check in to your hotel, and rest overnight.
Day 7
After breakfast, explore Bodhgaya, the place where Buddha attained enlightenment. Visit the Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue, Niranjana River, Sujata Temple, and other monasteries in the area. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
Day 8
Have breakfast and check out before driving to Varanasi. Upon arrival, visit Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Later, check in to your hotel in Varanasi for an overnight stay.
Day 9
tart the day with an early morning boat ride on the Ganges River, followed by breakfast. Visit Sarnath to explore its temples and stupas, and also see Banaras Hindu University. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
