How to Reach

 By Road

Pilgrims can reach Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh from Allahabad by taking a train to Chitrakoot Dham Karwi railway station, which is the nearest railway station, or by flying to Khajuraho Airport, which is approximately 175 kilometers away, and then taking a taxi or bus. Alternatively, they can also travel , taking a bus from Allahabad to Chitrakoot, which is connected by National Highway 76. From the railway station or airport, pilgrims can hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach their destination in Chitrakoot.

Day 1

Start the journey from Allahabad in the morning and travel to Chitrakoot, which is approximately 125 kilometers and takes around 3 hours by road, check-in at the hotel and freshen up, visit the famous Kamadgiri temple, also known as the Kamtanath temple, which is dedicated to Lord Rama, explore the surrounding area and have lunch at a local restaurant
In the evening visit the Bharat Milap temple, where Lord Rama met his brother Bharat, dinner at the hotel and overnight stay
Day 2

Start the day early and visit the Sphatik Shila, a beautiful spot where Lord Rama and Sita are said to have sat, then visit the Janaki Kund, which is believed to be the birthplace of Sita, have breakfast and then visit the Gupt Godavari, a beautiful cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, have lunch and then visit the Ramghat, which is a beautiful spot on the banks of the Mandakini River
In the evening participate in the aarti at the Kamadgiri temple, dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 3

Start the day early and visit the Hanuman Dhara, a beautiful spot with a waterfall, then visit the Sati Anusuya temple, which is dedicated to the wife of sage Atri, have breakfast and then check-out of the hotel, start the journey back to Allahabad
On the way visit the Prayag, which is the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers, have lunch and then continue the journey back to Allahabad, arrive in the evening and end the tour.
