The nearest airport is Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata (approx. 120 km). From there, you can travel to Kakdwip or Namkhana and then take a ferry to reach Gangasagar.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Kakdwip (approx. 30 km from the ferry point). From there, take a ferry to Sagar Island and then local transport to reach Gangasagar.
By Road
Gangasagar is accessible from Kolkata to Kakdwip or Namkhana, followed by a ferry ride to Sagar Island and local transport to the temple.
