Pilgrims can reach Guruvayur from Thrissur by taking a short drive or bus ride, as the temple town is approximately 30 kilometers away from Thrissur city. The nearest airport is the Cochin International Airport, which is about 80 kilometers from Guruvayur, and from there, taxis or buses can be taken to reach the temple, while the nearest railway station is Guruvayur railway station itself, which is well-connected to major cities and has regular trains from Thrissur railway station. Additionally, regular bus services are also available from Thrissur bus station to Guruvayur, making it easily accessible .

Day 1
Start your journey from Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala, and travel to Guruvayur, a major pilgrimage town famous for the Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple, arrive at hotel and check-in, after freshening up visit the famous Mammiyur Mahadeva Temple, have lunch at a local restaurant, in the evening visit the temple for darshan, the temple is open from 3 am to 9 pm with different darshan timings, have dinner at a nearby restaurant
Day 2
Wake up early and get ready for the special darshan at the temple, the temple opens at 3 am for darshan, after darshan return to the hotel for breakfast, spend the day exploring the town, visit the Punnathur Kotta Elephant Sanctuary, have lunch at a local restaurant, in the evening visit the temple again for the evening darshan, have dinner at a nearby restaurant
Day 3
Start the day with a visit to the Parthasarathy Temple, have breakfast at a local restaurant, then visit the Guruvayur Devaswom Museum, have lunch at a nearby restaurant, spend the afternoon at leisure, in the evening attend the cultural performances at the temple, have dinner at a nearby restaurant
Day 4
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and visit the Thiruvambadi Krishna Temple, have lunch at a local restaurant, then travel back to Thrissur, on the way visit the Vadakkumnathan Temple, one of the oldest Shiva temples in Kerala, have snacks at a local shop, reach Thrissur in the evening and end the journey with a lot of memories of the Guruvayur Temple Darshan
