Journey Itinerary

Day 1

Today you will depart from your country and reach Mumbai in the morning. Once you arrive in Mumbai our tour representative will meet you and welcome you gladly. You will be transferred to your designated hotel and you will complete your check-in formalities. You can spend the rest of the day as you want. You can visit the famous attractions of Mumbai or relax and unwind in your room. If you want you can visit the local markets or try out the street food of Mumbai. Have an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 2

In the morning you’ll be transferred to the airport and you’ll board a flight to Bhavnagar. After reaching Bhavnagar you’ll be greeted by our representative who will escort you to a heritage hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind in your room for some time getting away from the stress of the long journey. You can immerse yourself in the local traditions and culture and explore Bhavnagar’s heritage at your leisure. Have a tasty dinner at your hotel and then have a soothing sleep in your room.

Day 3

Relish a delectable breakfast in the morning and then get ready to visit the old city of Bhavnagar and the Gandhi Smriti Museum. The Gandhi Smriti Museum pays tribute to the teachings and life of Mahatma Gandhi. You will then wander through the bustling markets and narrow lanes of the old city, soak in the vibrant atmosphere, and see the captivating architectural marvels. In the evening you will return to your hotel and have a delightful overnight stay thinking about the happenings of the day and experiences that are yet to come.

Day 4

Today you will embark on a picturesque drive to Palitana from Bhavnagar, spanning around 50 kilometers. Once you reach Palitana, you will be transferred to your pre-reserved hotel and you’ll complete your check-in formalities and unwind in your room. The remaining day is at your leisure so you can explore Palitana or delve into the renowned Jain temples' spiritual ambiance. You can also relax and unwind in your room. Enjoy a lip-smacking dinner and then have an overnight stay at your Palitana hotel.

Day 5

Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast in the morning and then you will prepare yourself to climb Shatrunjaya’s holy Jain hill. Shwetambar Jains consider Shatrunjaya to be the most sacred destination. The hills have 865 temples atop where you will get to learn a lot about Jainism. The first Tirthankara of Jainism sanctified these hills and gave his first sermon on the hilltop. From the base of the hill, the climb is around 3.5 kilometers and takes two hours. After offering your prayers at the temples you’ll return back to your hotel and have a relaxing sleep in your room.

Day 6

Wake up early in the morning and have a delectable breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and head for a scenic drive to Junagarh covering a journey of approximately 190 km. Junagarh is a historic city in Gujarat with many mosques, temples, and the Girnar Hills that are home to many Jain temples. Once you reach Junagarh you will be escorted to your pre-reserved hotel and you’ll have an overnight stay.

Day 7

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll check out from your hotel and embark on a scenic drive to Junagarh. After reaching Junagarh you will climb the Mount Girnar hill. To reach the summit of this mountain you’ll have to conquer around 5000 steps. As you ascend, admire the breathtaking vistas and serene atmosphere that surround you. Once you reach the summit pay homage to the spiritual sites and then you will head back to your hotel. Have a worry-free overnight stay at your hotel post a scrumptious dinner.

Day 8

Today you can spend the day as you want in Junagarh exploring the city as you want. You can explore the historical landmarks and experience the rich cultural heritage of Junagarh. Explore the famous temples, visit the Junagarh Fort, or wander through the local markets. In the evening, you will say goodbye to Junagarh and then you will catch an overnight sleeper train to Ahmedabad. During the picturesque journey, you will relax and unwind, and relish the breathtaking views. Once you reach Junagarh you’ll check in to your pre-booked hotel and have an overnight stay.

Day 9

In the morning you will arrive in Ahmedabad and then you will check in at your pre-reserved hotel. Freshen up yourself and then you will embark on an exploration of the historical and cultural landmarks of the city. You will first visit the Sabarmati Ashram which is known to be the residence place of Mahatma Gandhi. Here Mahatma Gandhi propagated his principles of nonviolence and truth. Delve into the region’s rich textile heritage by visiting the Calico Museum of Textiles where you can see exquisite artifacts and textiles. After the sightseeing, you will head back to your hotel and have a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 10

On the tenth day, you will embark on a scenic train journey to Mount Abu from Ahmedabad known to be the most sacred of Jain hills. Your journey will lead you through picturesque landscapes. During your rail journey, you will relish the breathtaking ambiance. Once you have reached Mount Abu, you will be transferred to your heritage hotel where you will experience traditional Rajasthani charm. Have an overnight stay at your hotel after enjoying a lip-smacking dinner.

Day 11

Today you will savor a delectable breakfast and then get ready to explore the sacred temples and scenic hills of Mount Abu which is situated amidst the Aravalli Range. You will then wander through serene lakes, lush forests, and breathtaking landscapes adorning this scenic hill station. You will then visit the Dilwara Temples and marvel at the marble architecture and absorb the blissful ambiance of these temples. Next, you will visit the Achalgarh Fort, Nakki Lake, and Guru Shikhar and get an insight into the region’s cultural heritage. You will then head back to your hotel and have an overnight stay.

Day 12

Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the morning and then relax in your room. In the afternoon you’ll catch a train and embark on a journey to Ajmer. After arriving at Ajmer you will disembark the train and enjoy a picturesque drive to the town of Pushkar. Pushkar is known for its Only Brahma Temple and vibrant annual camel fair and promises the perfect blend of culture and spirituality. You will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel and have a delightful overnight stay.

Day 13

Post a delicious breakfast you will head to the revered temple that has been built in honor of the Lord Brahma and is steeped in spirituality and myth. You will then explore the vibrant bazaars and labyrinthine alleys of Pushkar, immersing yourself in the bustling atmosphere and rich culture of the town. Wander amidst the vibrant stalls and buy textiles, local handicrafts, and souvenirs for your friends and family from the vibrant marketplace. In the evening, you will head back to your hotel and have an overnight stay.

Day 14

Savor a lip-smacking breakfast and then you have the option to visit the shrine of Sufi Saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti which is located amidst the serene surroundings and is known for its blissful atmosphere. In the afternoon, you’ll check out from your hotel and get ready for a train journey to New Delhi. Once you arrive in New Delhi, you will meet our friendly representative who will warmly you with open arms and escort you to your pre-booked hotel in Delhi. Complete the check-in formalities and have an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 15

After a scrumptious breakfast, you will get ready for Delhi’s insightful orientation tour encompassing the cultural treasures and iconic landmarks of the city. You will visit the popular attractions of Delhi and get an insight into the rich history of the capital. Alternatively, you can go for an optional excursion to Agra and appreciate the beauty of the Taj Mahal. If you opt to visit Agra you will have to bear the additional charges on your own. After a day full of discovery and new experiences, you will return back to your hotel and have a restful overnight stay.

Day 16

After a lip-smacking breakfast in the morning at your Delhi hotel you’ll pack your bags and check out from your hotel as the Jain pilgrimage tour finally comes to an end. You will meet our representative outside your hotel who will transfer you to the New Delhi Airport so that you can board the flight for international departure.
