How to Reach

By Train

Pilgrims can reach Kollur Mukambika for the Mukambika Temple Karnataka Tour by flying into Mangalore International Airport, which is about 140 kilometers away, and then taking a taxi or bus to Kollur. They can also arrive at the Byndoor or Kundapura railway stations, which are connected to major cities, and then take a bus or taxi to Kollur, or travel by road from Mangalore or other nearby cities via bus or private vehicle. The scenic road journey from Mangalore to Kollur takes around 3-4 hours and offers a glimpse into the region's natural beauty.

Journey Itinerary

Day 1

Start the journey from Mangalore in the morning and drive to Kollur, a town in Udupi district famous for the Mukambika Temple, arrive at Kollur and check-in to the hotel, after freshening up visit the Mukambika Temple, the darshan timings are from 5 am to 1:30 pm and 3 pm to 9 pm, have lunch at a local restaurant and spend the rest of the day at leisure

In the evening visit the nearby Souparnika River and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Start the day early and visit the Mukambika Temple for a peaceful morning darshan, after darshan return to the hotel for breakfast, then visit the nearby Maranakatte Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, have lunch at a local restaurant

In the afternoon visit the Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary, a protected area for wildlife and flora, return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Udupi, a town famous for its Krishna Temple, arrive at Udupi and visit the Krishna Temple, the darshan timings are from 4 am to 10 pm, have lunch at a local restaurant

Then visit the nearby Chandramouleshwara Temple and the St Mary's Island, return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Start the day early and visit the Krishna Temple for a morning darshan, after darshan return to the hotel for breakfast, then check-out from the hotel and drive back to Mangalore, on the way visit the Anantheshwara Temple, a ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva

Arrive at Mangalore in the afternoon and end the tour with sweet memories of the Mukambika Temple Karnataka Tour
