How to Reach

 By Road

Pilgrims can reach Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh for the Omkareshwar Mamleshwar Yatra tour starting from Indore by taking a flight to Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport in Indore, which is the nearest airport, and then proceed or bus. The nearest railway station is also in Indore, from where pilgrims can take a train and then continue their journey or bus. From Indore, pilgrims can take a state transport bus or a private vehicle to reach Omkareshwar, which is around 77 kilometers away and takes approximately 2 hours .

Depart from Indore in the morning and travel to Omkareshwar, a journey of around 77 kilometers that takes approximately 2 hours, check-in to the hotel and freshen up, visit the Omkareshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India, have darshan at the temple during the afternoon hours between 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, after darshan visit the Gomukh Ghat and the beautiful surroundings of the temple, have lunch at a local restaurant and try some local cuisine, in the evening explore the local market and try some street food, have dinner at the hotel and rest for the night

Start the day early and have breakfast at the hotel, visit the Omkareshwar Temple again for morning darshan between 5:30 am to 12:00 pm, after darshan take a walk around the temple and visit the other smaller temples in the area, have lunch at the hotel or at a local restaurant, in the afternoon visit the Siddhnath Temple and the Kajal Rani Cave, have dinner at the hotel and rest for the night

Depart from Omkareshwar in the morning and travel to Maheshwar, a journey of around 61 kilometers that takes approximately 1.5 hours, check-in to the hotel and freshen up, visit the Maheshwar Temple, also known as the Mamleshwar Temple, have darshan at the temple during the afternoon hours between 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, after darshan visit the Rajwada Palace and the Ahilya Fort, have lunch at a local restaurant and try some local cuisine, in the evening take a stroll along the banks of the Narmada River, have dinner at the hotel and rest for the night

Start the day early and have breakfast at the hotel, visit the Maheshwar Temple again for morning darshan between 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, after darshan depart from Maheshwar and travel back to Indore, a journey of around 91 kilometers that takes approximately 2.5 hours, have lunch on the way or at a local restaurant in Indore, reach Indore in the afternoon and conclude the Omkareshwar Mamleshwar Yatra, drop off at the designated location in Indore
