Alternatively, they can take a train from Pune railway station to Solapur or Pandharpur railway station, which is more convenient, and then take a local transport to reach the temple. , pilgrims can take a bus or drive from Pune to Pandharpur, which is around 220 kilometers away, via the NH65 highway, with several buses operated by state transport and private operators available from Pune to Pandharpur.

Journey Itinerary
Day 1
Start the journey from Pune in the morning and travel to Pandharpur, a prominent pilgrimage site in Maharashtra, by road. The journey takes around 6 hours, and on the way, you can stop for breakfast and lunch at local eateries. Upon arrival in Pandharpur, check-in to the hotel and freshen up
Visit the Vitthal Temple, one of the most revered temples in Maharashtra, in the evening and take part in the evening aarti. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant, and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Pandharpur
Day 2
Start the day early and visit the Vitthal Temple for morning darshan, which begins at 4 am and goes on till 10 am. After darshan, return to the hotel for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning exploring the town and visiting other nearby temples like the Rukmini Temple and the Pundalik Temple
In the afternoon, have lunch at a local restaurant and take some rest. In the evening, visit the Vitthal Temple again for the evening aarti and take a stroll along the banks of the Bhima River. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant, and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Pandharpur
Day 3

Visit the famous Sant Dnyaneshwar Temple at Alandi, a sacred site dedicated to the revered Marathi saint and poet, Dnyaneshwar. Continue the journey to Pune and arrive in the city in the evening, bringing an end to the Pandharpur Vitthal Darshan tour
