How to Reach

 By Road

Pilgrims can reach Sabarimala in Kerala for the Sabarimala Ayyappa Pilgrimage tour starting from Kochi by taking a flight to Cochin International Airport, which is the nearest airport, and then proceeding or bus to Sabarimala. The nearest railway station is Kottayam, from where pilgrims can take buses or taxis to reach Pamba, the base camp of Sabarimala, and then trek to the temple. From Kochi, pilgrims can also take buses or drive directly to Pamba, which is around 270 kilometers away, and then begin their trek to the Sabarimala temple.

Begin the Sabarimala Ayyappa pilgrimage from Kochi, assemble at the designated meeting point and depart for Erumely, a town located near the Sabarimala temple, arrive at Erumely in the evening, check-in to the hotel, have dinner and rest for the night

Start the day with a visit to the Erumely Sree Dharmasastha Temple, take part in the Pettathullal ceremony, a ritualistic ceremony that marks the beginning of the pilgrimage, have lunch and then proceed to the Pamba base camp, the starting point of the trek to Sabarimala temple, have dinner and rest for the night
Day 3

Begin the trek to Sabarimala temple early in the morning from Pamba, the trek is about 5 kilometers and takes around 4-5 hours to complete, have lunch on the way, reach the temple in the afternoon, take part in the darshan and other rituals, have dinner at the temple premises, rest for the night at the temple

Spend the day at the Sabarimala temple, take part in the morning and evening darshan, visit the nearby temples such as the Malikappuram temple, have lunch and dinner at the temple premises, rest for the night at the temple

Begin the trek back to Pamba early in the morning, reach Pamba and then proceed to Kochi, have lunch on the way, arrive at Kochi in the evening, bringing an end to the Sabarimala Ayyappa pilgrimage, disperse from the designated meeting point
