Journey Itinerary
Day 1
Depart from Hyderabad early in the morning and travel to Srisailam, a journey of around 215 kilometers that takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions, upon arrival check-in to the hotel and freshen up, after lunch visit the famous Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India, and attend the evening darshan, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is a significant pilgrimage site in South India, dinner will be served at the hotel, and the evening is free for relaxation and exploration of the local area
Day 2
Start the day early with a visit to the Phaladhara Panchadara, a scenic spot with waterfalls and streams, located near the temple, after breakfast proceed to the Sakshi Ganapati Temple, a small but significant temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the temple is known for its unique tradition where the Ganapati idol is covered with kumkum, and it is believed that the lord witnesses the truth of the devotees, the afternoon is free for lunch and rest, in the evening attend the Maha Mangala Aarti at the Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, a grand ritual that is a must-experience for every devotee, dinner will be served at the hotel
Day 3
After breakfast visit the Akkamahadevi Caves, located on the banks of the Krishna River, the caves can be reached by a boat ride from the Patala Ganga, and the journey offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, the caves are significant as they are believed to be the place where Akkamahadevi, a 12th-century poet and mystic, meditated and attained enlightenment, in the afternoon visit the Hatakeswaram Temple, a small but ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, return to the hotel for dinner and rest
Day 4
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and visit the Patala Ganga, a sacred spot where devotees take a holy dip in the Krishna River, the spot is surrounded by beautiful scenery and offers stunning views of the river, after the visit start the journey back to Hyderabad, with a stop for lunch on the way, the journey takes around 4-5 hours, and upon arrival in Hyderabad the tour comes to an end
