How to Reach
By Road
Pilgrims can reach Ujjain for the Ujjain Mahakaleshwar Yatra tour starting from Indore by taking a flight to Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport in Indore, which is the nearest airport, and then proceed to Ujjain or bus. Alternatively, they can take a train to Ujjain Junction railway station, which is a major railhead, or travel , with regular bus services available from Indore to Ujjain. The road journey from Indore to Ujjain is approximately 55 kilometers and can be covered by taxi or bus, making it a convenient option for pilgrims.

Day 1
Start the journey from Indore in the morning, travel to Ujjain by road, a distance of approximately 55 kilometers, check into the hotel, have lunch, and then proceed to visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India, attend the evening aarti and have dinner at a local restaurant, overnight stay at Ujjain.
Day 2
After breakfast, visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple for morning darshan, the temple gates open at 4 am and the morning darshan timings are from 7 am to 8 am, after darshan, visit other nearby temples like Harsiddhi Temple, Kal Bhairav Temple, and ISKCON Temple, have lunch at a local restaurant, in the evening, take a stroll along the Shipra River and visit the Gopal Mandir, have dinner at a local restaurant, overnight stay at Ujjain
Day 3
After breakfast, check out from the hotel, visit the Sandipani Ashram, a place where Lord Krishna is said to have received his education, and then proceed to the Indore airport or railway station for departure, on the way, visit the Bada Ganpati Temple, known for its large idol of Lord Ganesha, have lunch on the way, reach Indore in the evening and conclude the Ujjain Mahakaleshwar Yatra.
