By Air
The nearest airport is Jammu Airport (approx. 50 km). From there, taxis are available to reach Katra, the base point for Vaishno Devi.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Railway Station. From there, autos and taxis are easily available to reach the temple base.
By Road
Katra is well-connected with regular buses from Jammu, Delhi, and nearby cities. From Katra, you can start the trek to Vaishno Devi Temple.

Journey Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at Jammu and transfer to Katra. After check-in and some rest, proceed to the helipad for a helicopter ride to Sanjichhat. From there, take a short trek to the Vaishno Devi Bhawan for darshan. After seeking blessings, return by helicopter to Katra for an overnight stay.
Day 2
The day is free for leisure in Katra. You may explore the local market, shop for dry fruits and souvenirs, or relax at the hotel. Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 3
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Jammu for your onward journey.
