Ganesh Himal Ruby Valley Trek in Nepal | Young Guns Trekkers

Ganesh Himal Ruby Valley Trek

Beyond Adventure

  • The Ganesh Himal Ruby Valley Trek is a sublime journey into the heart of the "Hidden Valley" of Nepal, a region that remains refreshingly untouched by the frantic commercialization seen in the Everest or Annapurna circuits. Nestled between the towering massifs of Ganesh Himal and the Langtang range, this trek offers a rare opportunity to experience the authentic rural life of the mid-hills of Nepal. The name "Ruby Valley" is derived from the precious stones—rubies and zinc—that are found deep within these mountains, but for the trekker, the real treasure lies in the staggering biodiversity and the profound hospitality of the local Tamang and Gurung communities. This trek is a cultural odyssey as much as it is a physical adventure, taking you through terraced farmlands, dense sub-tropical forests, and high alpine meadows that look out onto some of the most beautiful, yet least-photographed peaks in the world, including Ganesh Himal I, II, III, and IV, as well as Manaslu and Langtang Lirung.
