The nearest railway station to the Indrahar Pass trek is at Pathankot or Dharamshala. From there, one can take a taxi or bus to reach the upper Dharamkot village. The trek commences from the upper Dharamkot village.

The trek is not suitable for children below 12 years due to its challenging terrain and high altitude.
