- The expedition commences in the historic town of Manali, situated at 2,050 meters. While Manali is a bustling hub, the Leopard Trail quickly leaves the sounds of the Beas River valley behind, ascending into the "Inner Sanctuary" of the surrounding peaks.

Experience Having past experience of trekking surely helps. If the participants have any medical condition, it is highly recommended to be consulted by doctor and also please inform us beforehand so we can arrange the logistics accordingly.
Fitness Criteria
1. The Trekker should have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance by jogging in 35 minutes without stress or 10 km of distance in 80 minutes without stress.
3. If the trekker wants to carry a backpack then he/she should be able to carry a 10-12 kg backpack. If opting for Off-load option then the trekker should be able to carry a 3-5 kg backpack.
4. If a trekker's BMI is more or less than the normal range (18-29), please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking.

By Air:Nearest airport is Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali Airport), approximately 50 km from Manali. From Bhuntar airport, hire a taxi to reach Manali (approximately 1.5 hours).
By Taxi:Private taxis are available from Delhi, Chandigarh, and other nearby cities directly to Manali.
From Manali:Trek begins from Manali. Your trek leader will guide you to the starting point of the trail toward Bhalu Kao on Day 1.

You will trek approximately 12 km (approximately 6-7 hours) from Manali through dense deodar and oak forests to reach Bhalu Kao campsite.

You will trek approximately 10 km (approximately 5-6 hours) through open alpine meadows and wildlife-rich terrain to reach Thulo Kutal.

Rest and acclimatization day at Thulo Kutal. Explore surrounding area for snow leopard sightings and spot Himalayan blue sheep and other wildlife.

You will trek approximately 9 km (approximately 5-6 hours) through high-altitude terrain and rocky paths to reach Pinni Rangrik.

You will trek approximately 8 km (approximately 4-5 hours) through remote wilderness and scenic mountain trails to reach Pinni Guhali.

You will trek approximately 9 km (approximately 5-6 hours) continuing through wildlife-rich areas to reach Rumbak.

You will trek to the road head and drive approximately 70 km (approximately 2-3 hours) to reach Leh. Trek concludes.
