Minimum Age 18 to 65 years
Experience Prior high-altitude trekking experience is strongly recommended and essential for this trek. Having past experience of trekking at altitudes above 5,000 m is highly recommended. If the participants have any medical condition, it is highly recommended to be consulted by doctor and also please inform us beforehand so we can arrange the logistics accordingly.
Experienced Trekkers: Suitable only for trekkers with significant prior high-altitude trekking experience who are ready for one of the most challenging Himalayan adventures available
Fitness Not suitable for those with any serious medical conditions including severe heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, chronic respiratory issues, acute mountain sickness history, and any condition affecting physical endurance. Medical consultation is mandatory before joining this trek.
Fitness Criteria
1. The Trekker should have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance by jogging in 35 minutes without stress or 10 km of distance in 80 minutes without stress.
3. If the trekker wants to carry a backpack then he/she should be able to carry a 10-12 kg backpack. If opting for Off-load option then the trekker should be able to carry a 3-5 kg backpack.
4. If a trekker's BMI is more or less than the normal range (18-29), please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking.

By Air:Nearest airport is Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali Airport) or Leh Airport. From Manali, drive to Kaza via Kunzum Pass (approximately 200 km, 7-8 hours)
From Kaza:
Kaza is the starting point of the Parang La Trek. Your trek leader will guide you from Kaza on Day 1.
By Train:
Nearest railway station is Shimla or Chandigarh. From Shimla, take a bus or taxi to Kaza (approximately 12-14 hours). From Chandigarh, drive to Kaza via Shimla (approximately 14-16 hours).
By Bus
HRTC buses available from Shimla to Kaza (approximately 12-14 hours). Buses also available from Manali to Kaza during summer months.

You will trek approximately 12 km (approximately 5-6 hours) from Kaza through dramatic Spiti landscape to reach Chicham village.

You will trek approximately 10 km (approximately 5-6 hours) through high-altitude terrain and rocky mountain paths to reach Lalung.

You will trek approximately 12 km (approximately 6-7 hours) through vast open plateaus and barren Spiti landscape to reach Gyamar.

You will trek approximately 8 km (approximately 4-5 hours) toward the base of the legendary Parang La Pass. Set up camp at base and prepare for summit day.

Early morning summit to cross the magnificent Parang La Pass at an altitude of 5,578 m (18,301 ft). Enjoy breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views and begin descent into Ladakh terrain. You will trek approximately 14 km (approximately 8-9 hours).

You will trek approximately 15 km (approximately 6-7 hours) through dramatic Ladakh landscape and vast high-altitude plateaus.

You will trek approximately 12 km (approximately 5-6 hours) through remote Ladakh wilderness toward the stunning Tso Moriri Lake area.
