- The expedition commences with a dramatic flight into Jumla, one of the most remote high-altitude outposts in Nepal. Jumla is not just a trailhead; it is a transition into a world where time has moved with a different rhythm.The Scent of Ancient Trade: Jumla was once part of the powerful Khas Kingdom, and the ancient stone-paved streets and traditional houses reflect a history of rugged independence. Experience Having past trekking experience surely helps. No mandatory prior experience required.
Fitness Please consult your doctor before joining this trek if you have any medical condition. Not suitable for serious medical conditions.
Fitness Criteria
1. The Trekker should have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance by jogging in 35 minutes without stress or 10 km of distance in 80 minutes without stress.
3. If the trekker wants to carry a backpack then he/she should be able to carry a 10-12 kg backpack. If opting for Off-load option then the trekker should be able to carry a 3-5 kg backpack.
4. If a trekker's BMI is more or less than the normal range (18-29), please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking.

You will fly approximately 1 hour from Kathmandu to reach Jumla, one of the most remote districts in northwestern Nepal at an altitude of 2,540 m.

You will trek approximately 12 km (approximately 6-7 hours) from Jumla through traditional villages and pine forests to reach Danphe Lagna at an altitude of 3,010 m.

You will trek approximately 10 km (approximately 5-6 hours) through beautiful forests and meadows to reach Chautha at an altitude of 2,770 m.

04
You will trek approximately 8 km (approximately 4-5 hours) through Rara National Park to reach the stunning Rara Lake at an altitude of 2,990 m. Enjoy spectacular views of the turquoise lake.

Full day exploring the beautiful Rara Lake. Walk around the lake shore (approximately 10 km circuit), spot rare birds and wildlife, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

You will trek approximately 10 km (approximately 5-6 hours) through scenic trails to reach Pina village.

You will trek approximately 10 km (approximately 4-5 hours) back to Jumla, then fly approximately 1 hour back to Kathmandu. Trek concludes.
