Tso Moriri Trek in Ladakh | Young Guns Trekkers

Tso Moriri Trek

Beyond Adventure

  • The Tso Moriri Trek is not merely a high-altitude expedition; it is a profound odyssey into the "Broken Moon" landscape of Ladakh. Spanning seven days of rigorous yet transcendent trekking, this journey traverses the Changthang Plateau—a land so high and so remote that it is often referred to as the "Roof of the World." At an staggering altitude of 4,550 meters (14,927 feet), the trek culminates at the sapphire shores of Tso Moriri, the largest high-altitude lake entirely within Indian territory. The journey begins in Leh, the historic heartbeat of Ladakh. Before the first step is taken on the trail, the trekker is enveloped in a world of stark contrasts. Leh sits at 3,500 meters, where the air is thin and the sun carries a physical weight.
